Before you throw out the guts of that jack-o'-lantern you've carved, try this basic, healthy recipe for roasted pumpkin seeds.
Pumpkin seeds are loaded with nutrients. They're high in both plant sterols, which may help lower cholesterol, and phytochemicals, which promote prostate health.

Whether as a healthy snack, or as a quick breakfast or dessert, these cupcakes are not your average cupcakes. They are actually very healthy for you and soo delicious and satisfying! I always store them in an airtight container and then put them in the fridge for whenever I get hungry!

On days when I really want a red holiday starbucks cup, but do not want all the heavy calories, I run home and make a pot of my favorite winter drink. I love it as a snack or in the mornings with some added espresso. Its only about 150 calories a cup and 3 grams of fat.

HummusThis is soo delicious! I make it and prepare them in individual containers to bring to work. I like to make big batches of my pita chips in advance also and then put them in portion sized baggies so im all set to go in the morning.
