I have been watching what I eat for a couple of weeks now and the one thing that I find important is not to deprive yourself of the sweet cravings. When you keep things from yourself that you enjoy it can lead to resentment concerning the diet change and when you fall of track you may overindulge.
To satisfy my love of ice cream I adore skinny cow ice cream which has multiple choices that are very low in calories but big on satisfaction and taste. I also just tried a Weight Watchers Cookie Dough Ice Cream sundae today that was so surprisingly delicious that, watching what I eat or not I would still partake. Other ideas include sorbet or frozen yogurt which cut out the higher calorie count but still satisfy.
